Defunkd "Tee for a Tree" Program

I am glad to be a new Defunkd seller for many reasons, not the least of which being this just announced tree-planting program - "Tee for a Tree" -

...To celebrate, we've entered into an agreement with weforest.org. They're a highly respected global tree planting organization.

So here's whats going down. For every t-shirt that's sold through Defunkd, one tree will be planted. We're caling it the "Tee for a Tree" program. Vintage t-shirts are already symbols of green especially in the "reuse" department. So it seems fitting that every one sold via Defunkd will now be double green! Customers can be proud of what they're wearing on mutiple levels.

The best part is that we're honoring all previous orders - so among those 300+ orders (and factoring in orders with more than one t-shirt) our first contribution will go toward planting close to 400 trees!...

I have 11 vintage t-shirts with trees on them for sale on there now. This Central Park New York 1970's one is probably the most tree-ish.

Behind the T-shirt: Winter Park Sinkhole 1981

On May 1, 1981, a sinkhole 320 feet wide and 90 feet deep formed in the middle of Winter Park, Florida.

It swallowed a Porsche dealership, a 2 story house, and a public pool.
